We know, we know, this is long overdue, nonetheless, we can't help but sharing it. Watched the show live here on LUMINNEJ, it was a fun filled affair, spotting some of the denim jackets that we like, contrasting them with shell leather, sequin or tulles pieces? Crazy ideas but somehow, it works, well , at least for us. Based on the theme The Birds and The Bees, can one call this collection whimsical? We got some of them, not all, so we couldn't figure out what Christopher Bailey was up to. Overall, it was a colourful collection!
There were some really beautiful guests appeared on that day at the Kensington Gardens runway show and we enjoyed the numbers performed by British singer-songwriter and Burberry Acoustic musician James Bay. That's what so cool about a Burberry runway show, we feel. What's best is that Burberry embraces the new technology so much that you can enjoy the show wherever one may be or even custom order the pieces one likes from the runway show right after, for a certain period of time. Convenience of shopping at your finger tips. That is quite a smart move, like most brands are working on now.
