Life is strange. It unfolds in the most unexpected way. We were drooling over a camera that is Olympus PEN series for the longest time, primarily captivated when we first saw the PEN EP5 TV commercial and the ad campaign some time last year. "It would be nice to have one of these cameras..." that was what we thought to ourself, but then the hopes and dreams poof-ed (is there such a word? haha) away like the minute a piece of nice chocolate melts in our mouth, disappears without a trace. That thought of having one faded along the way, with time, but was never forgotten though (we subconsciously weaved it into one of our "things that make us happy" blog posts here). Still keeping our fingers (and toes crossed).
Not until some time last week, a close friend came back from Sydney and out of no where, suggested that perhaps he can loan us his Olympus unit! We almost choked by the air that we breathe, but secretly acted cool in front of our friend. The next day, this lovely looking baby landed in our hands, literally *_^
We are no professional photographer but we do LOVE visuals and taking our own pictures for LUMINNEJ somehow gives us the rush, every single time. Capturing moment or a certain object allows us to, in a certain way, tap into the creative part of our brain, we feel. It is very satisfying indeed.
We do hope to put this into good use and shall not disappoint our dear friend. The lesson learnt here? Appreciate everything that comes our way and never stop hoping and wishing upon a star, for we may never know, our wish may just be granted, in some odd way or the other. Thanks universe (law of attraction, perhaps?) and super HUGE thanks to our dear friend for his generosity *_^

Ooh my gosh this camera is SO beautiful, externally, let alone its internal capability! What a great friend! (And you are totally deserving of such a lovely piece of equipment!) I can't wait to see more of the photos that you post on your blog!
